The watch is unique, which is outstanding in a digital world. Typical Casio craftmanship. Many complex timing features, but easy to master. $$$ value second to none. Only negative: dark blue hour hand is difficult to see in dull light.

Customer Review: Great Watch!
I got this watch for a trip to Barbados. I realized I only had more “dressy” watches and nothing that I could wear everywhere on our trip. I took it in the ocean, pool, everywhere and it is great! I don’t have to worry about it getting banged up, and it never stops!

The manual is a bit hard to read, and setting the watch takes a while. That is my only gripe with it.

If I were you, I’d buy one….

Customer Review: great digital watch for the price
I had a G-Shock when they first came out 25 yrs. ago. I put it through it’s paces while in the military and ended up giving it to a friend who was in need of such a tough watch. A few years later when I took the time to look at the G-Shocks again I was surprised to see how greatly the styling had changed. Gone were the rugged-looking squared off edges and straight lines, replaced instead by near-bizarre looking faces with all sorts of whistles and bells. I was therefore glad to see Casio recently offer up a few “throwback” models. In addition to the ruggedness and great styling, the solar powered aspect is a really comforting thing–it charges effortlessly; the battery has a much, much longer expected life than a typical quartz one; it keeps quartz-like accuracy; and you’re “going green” with a watch like this. Add to all of this the middle-of-the-night signal adjustment from Ft. Collins (mine receives it’s signal almost every night, even if I’m wearing it while sleeping) and it’s tough to think of a better looking, better performing digital watch.

This is the ultimate watch if you are on a budget, never have to set the time again and not worry about looking for a battery change. Since the casio is solar powered and receives atomic updates whenever it can. I found it a really useful beater watch and you wouldn’t have to worry about wrecking it since it’s a gshock.

Customer Review: The “compliment magnet”.
I’ve received numerous “I love your watch” and “where did you get that watch” comments since wearing my white G Shock. It’s a real eye catcher for sure. Especially if you have dark skin or are rocking a tan. I love the G Shock line. I can’t wait to get this model in different fun colors. The white is awesome for sure. The only heads up is that the small band that is used to hook the other side of the watch into has turned a little yellow. But it’s no biggie given the rest of the watch is still bright white after some wear and tear.

Customer Review: A Great Watch
This watch does everything it’s supposed to better than advertised. Instructions say to carefully position the watch near a window to receive radio signals but I find that it does just fine anywhere I leave it at night. Without making any special attempt to keep the watch in the light the battery charge indicator has shown full charge the entire time I’ve owned it. Since it’s plastic it’s lighter than a metal watch and more comfortable to wear. And best of all, I’ll never again lose an argument about what time it is!
Customer Review: Not Thrilled
All these watches are amazing. So, in the first place, it’s a very competent watch. That said, I was a little disappointed. I have a GW300 (module 2608) that had one of the early batteries so notorious for failing. This (GW700) watch just seems to go in the wrong direction. It’s not as good looking, as tasteful, whatever. The digits are harder to read. The layout of the display makes less sense. Now with time on my hands (no pun intended) and with nothing to lose, I ordered a battery for the GW300 and carefully changed it. Guess which one I’m wearing and guess which one is in the cupboard in standby mode? If I had it to do over again, I would simply look at the pictures of the many watches Casio offers and try to be more careful.

Customer Review: great watch all around
I got this G-shock after I recieved a Nautica chronograph. Wasn’t too fond of the Nautica (way too big) so I exchanged it for this one. I am very impressed with the G-shock. Lightweight, good size, looks amazing. Took me a little time to figure all the functions out, but I have it all set up now. Being able to switch from my time zone over to GMT and to be able to see both at the same time is a nice thing to have in my line of work. The fact that it looks this nice and will take a beating as well isn’t too bad either.

Customer Review: Solid and capable watch
This watch solves several problems:
1. No need for battery replacement, so no cost for batteries and no disposal. This also means that the water resistance is preserved, since many battery replacement places don’t guarantee the factory seal.
2. More durable band? This will take several years to figure out, but as others have mentioned, it looks and feels more sturdy than other rubber-based bands. I’ve lost more watches due to band breakage than anything else.
3. Time is automatically set — this is a convenient feature, plus it is easy to change time zones or maintain dual zones when traveling. However, it only tunes into Ft. Collins, so it won’t find a signal overseas, as newer (and more expensive) atomic watches may. Not a big deal for traveling, though.

I searched the Casio web site, until I found the watch I wanted. This watch was priced at $130.00. I found it on Amazon for $70.00. I very happy with the product and the shipment from Amazon. I’m in Afghanistan and it is working perfectly so far.

this watch is one of a kind it looks bulky but it is one of the lightest watches i’ve worn. there are no problems with this watch even if you tried.200 meter water resist, if it is flat and then tilt it at a 45. degrees the light turns on, the best feature is the solar you never have to change the battery and if you had to you can just buy a new one of these watches. i gave 5 stars because it is the best watch i’ve ever worn and the very helpful features and it is hard to not buy this watch. because it is simply one of the best

This is a great great watch that I could not be happier with. Numbers are very easy and clear to read, and you can’t deny how nice it looks on your wrist. This is the lowest price I’ve found it for so I jumped on the deal as soon as possible…you should do the same.
