Customer Review: good watch
This seems to be a good watch however the instruction of how to adjust it to the correct date and time were challenging. The instructions were somewhat comfusing and the size of the prinnting was certainly a problem.
A serious problem that I have found is that the hands on the watch, hour and minute hands, are the same color or very similar in color as the face of the watch making it very difficult to read specially in poor lighting..

Customer Review: G-Shock Review
I’m very happy with this watch. It has a stylish appearance and, more importantly, good functionality. If you are not used to them the extra dials take a bit to get used to and it can be hard to read the stop watch. My only complaint about this watch is that the hands can be difficult to see unless viewed straight on (they tend to get lost in the busy background) and that there is no light.

Customer Review: Super Time Getter
About two years ago I bought the GW300 which is similar to this one. Every morning at 5:03 since then the watch seeks a signal from the satellite and updates the time. The watch has been through the toughest tests one can imagine and it keeps on humming. Accurately, too. While a bit bulky compared to a regular wristwatch it has been packed with almost every tool you can imagine except a GPS. When I am ready for a new Casio it will be the G-Shock variety such as this one advertised, the G7300.

Customer Review: great watch for super prize
What a wonderful watch for a great prize. It even fits my daughter’s very slim wrist. She loves it. It’s stylish. The stopwatch function helps her keep track of her piano practice.
Good buy.
Customer Review: Nice
Bought this one for my wife. She can’t seem to buy a watch that lasts over a year for her. I only buy Casio because they about never fail to last forever. I about have to take a hammer to mine to make an excuse to buy a new one. I have 3 casios that I trade off.

Anyway, the problem with Casio is they are a man’s thing. They don’t make eligent women’s watches so my wife wouldn’t buy one. I bought this one for her because like other G watches it is probably indestructable and I hoped she would be OK with its size and appearance. Well it looks OK and she seems to like the appearance well enough to wear it. She works hard and has her hands in water alot and likes not having to worry about getting the watch wet. Additionally, the watch has great features including the timer function. None of mine have that and I wish they did.

She hasn’t had it long enough to see how long it will last for her, but I imagine it will last until she decides to take a hammer to it!

Here are my only gripes with her watch, which don’t bother her at all. The display is a little bit light. Its readable enough, but the contrast is not nearly as good as other Casios I’ve seen. This is not a big problem, though, and this characteristic might enhance the battery life, which leads me to my final comment…

Casio women’s watches only have an expected battery life of 2 or 3 years (or at least the ones that I’ve seen). Men’s Casios are 5 to 10 years, and of course if you buy a solar rechargable one, I guess theoretically the battery could last a life time. Why can’t they make women’s watches with a battery life of 5 to 10 years.

Oh well, this Baby-G battery is good for 3 years, which is a least 3 times longer than my wife has ever had a watch to even run. Besides, I can just replace to battery if it dies before the watch!

Oh, I forgot, the accuracy on my wife’s watch is actually better than the guaranteed accuracy of +-15 seconds per month. It runs about 11 seconds slow per month, which is just a little over 2 minutes per year. That’s pretty good.

Customer Review: Sharp Looking Watch
I bought this watch as a back-up to my Casio Solar Pathfinder PAW1300. I wanted something I could wear to work that would look nice and also be able to handle getting banged around and the tough stuff. I knew the only answer was to get a G-Shock because they are known for being tough under fire and taking a beating and still going. I am happy with this because I like the blue color as well as many of the features. I have to use GMT time at work so I like to be able to have both of the times up at the same time. I would recommended this watch to anyone. I wish it could be solar powered and atomic like my Pathfinder but I guess you can’t have it all and keep it a reasonably low priced watch that you aren’t afraid to beat up a little at work. Once again - a great watch!
Customer Review: This the second G-Shock chronograph watch i have bought.
My friend saw my G-shock chrono and instantly said he had to get one. This is a great product i have no complaints excellent.

This sharp-looking watch blends technological functionality with classic, sleek design, It is powered by solar movement and is water resistant to 660 feet.

Customer Review: Classic Style, Great Operation
G-Shock Solar Atomic Watch is an excellent timekeeper. Noteworthy is the fact that the screen goes blank when it is in the dark, but as soon as it is exposed to light, the black digits re-appear. It is sometimes difficult to depress the light button, but it is well protected from exposure to any type of moisture. The solar power and the automatic synchronization are both excellent features.

Also like the fact that the buckle has two latches. The band is very comfortable compared to most of the Casio watches that only have a single prong buckle.

The watch is easy for use with time zones. An excellent feature if you have to travel into different time zones. Most important of all is that it lives up to the toughness of the “G-Shock” tradition.
Customer Review: Good Watch
I chose this watch for its simplicity, and I am VERY HAPPY with it. The watch is set for the Cesium clock in Japan, so it must be configured for the Cesium clock in Colorado or it will register a signal error. This is done by reading the comprehensive instructions. I took the back off in attempt to reset it, but the battery can’t be removed. In the process I messed up the buttons, so I had to take the back off again to fix the buttons. In the process I may have not seated the O-ring right, but if the crystal develops condensation I’ll have to take the back off a third time, dry it out and fix the O-ring. When I shorted the battery it drained the battery and reset, but after wearing it in the sun mowing the yard it charged to high and stayed there ever since.

I’m a little worried about the watch band and replacing it if it ever breaks. I might try and obtain a couple of extras from Casio. It doesn’t use the standard spring pins. The band is unique to this watch, and it’s made of plastic.

The watch has calibrated with the Cesium clock in Colorado every day so far without fail. I am hoping this continues and that it will be as good a watch for me as the similar-looking Casio watches of the 1980’s.

Customer Review: Awesome oldschool watch with alot of compliments
I bought this because i had a classic black one back in the 80’s as a kid and this watch brought back memories and now theyre inexpensive and very trendy. I get compliments all the time and I am going to be buying all colors of these watches.
Customer Review: Great Product
Casio has been making the g-shock for most of my life, it’s nice to see it come back into style, and that tells me I’m getting old. Great watch and the price on Amazon was a third of that at other locations online. Of course, you’re on Amazon, so you know that.
