I’ve had this watch for a little over a year now and have no complaints. It syncs nightly to an atomic clock as advertised as long as I leave it on a windowsill. The timekeeping is very accurate. No problems with the solar charging so far and it doesn’t mind getting wet. This watch doesn’t have as many other features as some other watches I’ve owned, and it is a little extra effort to put it near a window every night. But it has all the essential features I need and it’s nice to not have to worry about setting it or changing the battery. Well designed,

i love this watch because of the velcro band. It makes the watch look tougher, stronger and bulkier. Everyone who sees it likes too. this watch is tough, rough and unique. I collect g-shocks and happy that i added this one to my collection.

Very tough watch will get you through the most demanding situations as well as day to day wear. The velcro strap is a bit difficult to use, however.

I was just dissapointed with the quality of the watch band. I didn’t realize that it was plastic. Other than the watch band, i really liked the features of the watch. I did return it and purchased the Casio Baby G silver tone with pink and I just love it.

Customer Review: Frogman Dawn Black
I caught my frogman just a few days ago. Early impressions:

I own 4 other G shocks, so I’m used to big watches…this Frogman is much bigger than all of them (including the mudman). It is a very large watch. I have a thin wrist, and it looks pretty bulky on me. I’m not sure why it is so large. I has a smaller display than several of my other Gs. Or maybe the overall size just makes it look tiny.

It’s size doesn’t keep me from really enjoying this watch though. It looks great. I actually own the Dawn Black edition (also own the clear white band and bezel to switch it up now and then) and I love how the gold and black compliment each other. The clear/white looks good too.

It has a ton of features, that I will not ever use since I am not a diver. It has a diving timer/log, times of famous diving locations around the globe, 20 Bar WR, Passport #, Blood type, etc. I pretty much stick to time, date, stopwatch, and maybe timer. But, as a G collector, I had to grab a frogman, and this one of the prettiest in the bunch.

I really like that the date, day of the week, and time are all displayed on the main screen. It also has a cool green glow w/ the back light. I love the auto light feature!

This watch is a quite a bit outside of what I need in my day to day, but I’m happy I purchased one. It is a great watch for a diver, or anyone who wants a tough, big, eye catching timepiece.
