Casio Men’s G-Shock Ana-Digi Yellow Sports Watch #G511-9AV Powerfully styled with a modern silver resin case, this Casio G-Shock analog/digital men’s watch (model G511-1AV) can withstand virtually any punishment you can mete out. It features a bright yellow dial and luminous hands as well as three digital subdial windows (for the watch’s sport timing features). This large, round case measures 50.2mm wide (or 1.98 inches), and it’s completed by a black resin strap that tapers as it winds around your wrist.
It includes a 1/100-second stopwatch with a 60-minute measuring capacity and elapsed time, split time, and 1st/2nd place time modes as well as a 60-minute countdown timer. Other timekeeping functions include 12/24-hour formats, year/month/date/day display (with an autocalendar to the year 2099), daylight savings time on/off, and world time from 29 time zones/27 cities (with city code display). It has four independent daily alarms (with one snooze alarm) and an optional hourly time signal. It also offers a scratch-resistant mineral crystal, AfterGlow LED electro-luminescent backlight, and battery life of up to 2 years. Customer Review: Good looking watch. Not everything I wanted. Amazon provided terrible customer service throughout the buy process, the worst I have ever been through.
The watch itself is not bad. My only complaint is that it doesn’t show digital date, time, and day of week at the same time. Other G-shocks do show all the info simultaneously. For this one, you have to toggle between the three. Customer Review: Casio G-Shocked There are a few reasons I returned this item.
To start with the watch hands and date are almost impossible to see in low light conditions. Even in a well lit, bright room, I had to really look hard to see the hands on the face. The hands blend into the face of the watch making it very difficult to do a quick time check. I have very good vision and had to hold the watch close to my face to read the time. The date window is so small, I’m surprised anyone would be happy with this watch if they use that feature. (just look at the photo) I was really disappointed to see that there was no way to set the watch to show the date and the day simultaneously. Maybe that’s trivial but all of my other Casios have shown date, day and time all at once. (I have owned 4)
I also tested the light while standing in a closet. I was very disappointed to see how dim it is. I couldn’t see the time hands at all and the date is so tiny, you almost need a magnifying glass to read it. There is no way to see the time of day using the watch light. NONE. Why on earth would you design a watch light that doesn’t show the time when it’s illuminated? I sure couldn’t use the digital feature considering the window and font are so small. I work the night shift and need a watch that really lights up. I need to be able to see day, date and time without using a flashlight for additional light.
In closing I currently have a G-Shock model G-3110-1VCF that has been abused and worked great for years. I have given a very honest review and would not recommend this model or any similar model to anyone. Thank you and I hope this information can be helpful in your decision.

Customer Review: Not recommend I just bought this watch. When I opened the package, I found the product was not sealed and the date had been set. Apparently It was not new. This is terrible. Customer Review: Disappointing and cannot see the time. I know this watch looks really cute.Just got 2,the pink for myself and the dark camo to my sister. We both had a very hard time to adjust the time correctly because you cannot see the numbers. The Time will always come in “silverish-mirror” color on a pink background and you have to tilt the watch in order to catch a better look at the time.Although the instructions are clear, the difficult part besides trying to see the number is the buttons. They are kinds small and hidden making it difficult to set the time. I am surprised to find out that Casio has made such a HUGE mistake in launching a watch like this Baby G.If you do not want to see the time but want to have the watch because it looks cute, buy it,other than that, don’t waste your bucks on it.

Customer Review: Sturdy Watch I like this watch, but I don’t love it and here’s why: (1) The buttons are so stiff it’s often difficult to use them, and (2) The alarm isn’t loud enough to be any use (one of the main reason’s I got the watch), and there is no way to adjust the volume up.
