Customer Review: Not a good bargain yet…
Watch looks nice and my daughter loves it BUT it only worked for about two weeks and then started resetting itself to 12:00 every day and resetting the watch to its’ baseline date of 1/1/2000. Now going back for repairs / replacement. Hopefully problem only occurred with this one watch.

Customer Review: Overall Cool Watch, but Feels Like a Cheap Band
Well, like a lot of guys, I needed another watch like I needed a hole in my head. This is the fourth G-Shock I’ve purchased. The urban camo design is what really caught my eye, and it doesn’t disappoint stylistically in this regard. Because of the unique mold process, no two watches will be identical. After deliberation, I ultimately chose the urban camo because you can really wear it with anything, unlike the army green colorways. Another G-Shock I have is the Casio GW410TCJ-7, which is the pricier and scarcer all white solar powered surf watch. Comparatively, this urban camo is strictly battery powered (non-solar) and the functions are easier to follow than my solar surf model. Main reason I can’t give the highest rating to the camo is due to the band, which is thinner than the straps on my other G-Shocks. This is rather disappointing, because I predict that you’d have to replace the band on this watch after a couple of years with daily wearing. I could also see this band being harder to replace in later years, or at unreasonable replacement cost. For this reason, I recommend rinsing the watch after each wearing (to keep salt-sweat accumulation off the band), and not using this as an everyday watch or for heavy duty purposes. For heavy duty, I’d recommend a G-Shock in the Mudman series-line.

Customer Review: belt stinks after use
The material of the belt soak up sweat from wearing. It stinks after using and needs constant cleaning. Otherwise, the watch is very functional and stylish looking.

casio has substituted the valuable countdown timer function for the data storage feature in this and many of the newer g-shock models….other than this the watch is the usual g-shock quality - i like the fact that its not as bulky as some of the other models

I got this watch for my husband’s birthday. He likes it very much. Actually it’s a very nice field watch for daily use but he treasures it so much that he only wears it when he goes out with the family and wouldn’t want to wear it to work!

Customer Review: Waveceptor? NOT!
This solar powered G-Shock Frogman is a great watch, but be aware that it is not a “Waveceptor” version. Casio’s Waveceptor watches sync the time with a radio signal automatically every night to assure spot-on time, this watch does not have this capability.
