I have had this watch for a little over a year now, talk about taking a licking and keeping on ticking. I am a firefighter so this watch has taken some punishment; heat, sweat, knocked around, washed in a washing machine. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars, I thought it had a second hand which is handy for taking pulses on patients. The stop watch feature is nice for working out, but the display can be hard to read at times since it is so small. The solar part of the watch has worked out well, I have never had a problem with the watch running out of power. The atomic clock is a nice feature, when the time changed this year I didn’t have to worry about dragging my instruction manual out to read up on how to change the time. So if you are in the market for a low mantainence, rugged watch this is as good as they get.
Customer Review: Watch performs as expected - terrible wrist band design
The plastic wrist band connects under the face of the watch. It creates two very noticeable protruding lips underneath the face of the watch where your wrist comes in contact. If the watch is snuggly fitted on the wrist, one will notice that the lips dig right into your wrist. Replacement of the band is very difficult. The screws connecting the band to the watch are impossible to remove. Terrible band design.
